1n 2000 she set up TOCC (Training) offering training for chalet staff. She has trained staff for several chalet operators including Snowline/VIP, Meriski, Alpine Action, Lotus Supertravel and Ski Famille. In 2004 she extended her training and qualified as a CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environtal Health) Food Hygiene trainer and has since expanded the food hygiene training side of TOCC (Training), providing such training for many other chalet operator staff

Joanna (Jo) Hallewell

Jo Hallewell was born and raised in Surrey. She studied Hotel, Catering and Institutional Management at Oxford Polytechnic (Oxford Brooks University).

After working in London for Cunard International, Drakes Restaurant and The Chicago Pizza Pie Factory, she spent two winter seasons working as a chalet girl for Supertravel
and a summer season for Bladon Lines running the kitchen in their house party hotel on Corfu.

Over the next 16 years, together with her husband Peter, she spent the summers running her own restaurant in Salcombe, Devon and her winters in the French Alps where, for the last 15 years, she has run her own catered chalet in Les Gets.
